FUTURE TOWN
D & T and Geography for KS2

Future Town 1

An interactive show where children work as a team to design the town of tomorrow.

The pupils become pioneering adventurers, training to build a city of the future. They will have to learn surveying skills to help them choose the perfect place to build their new home, and then use design skills to work out how to build it using futuristic methods and materials.

This project covers a wide range of attainment targets from the Design & Technology and Geography sections of the National Curriculum. Mr. Secret guides volunteers as they take part in a series of experiments, which help the whole school make decisions about their town of the future.
